Owl

Held in reverence by the other bloodlines, they are claimed to be the intellectuals of the Sentinels. They possess non-bias opinions and computer like minds when it comes to confrontations and arguments. For this very reason they make excellent advisors and served as many right hands for infamous and respected leaders throughout history. Content to stay in the back ground, they influence those around them through words and suggestions. But this also comes as a problem to other bloodlines. Seeing them as calculating, many tend to keep a safe distance from their influence. This is why the Owl bloodline keep to themselves and rarely find significant others in other bloodlines. Those of the Dragon Bloodline are unique all in their own. Being the only bloodline that has a significant connection with all three aspects of their power; Mind, Body, and Spirit, there are many exceptions for them. There isn’t certain characteristics or faults in their people that follow generations. The Dragons used their difference to an advantage. Their way of thinking allowed them to view different aspects of situations and react accordingly. They make the best commanders and generals, many having spent years in wars. Their quick thinking and out of the norm ideas leading to victory quickly. This bloodline has those gifted in:

Tiger

Of all the bloodlines, Tiger would be the one that is more related to their blood name. Though not animalistic in nature, those of this bloodline do have animal tendencies. They have a short temper when pushed and do not hesitate to exact justice as they see fit. They hold family as the highest regard, but there are few, if any, actual marriages in any generation. Due to their connection with the animal of their name they make excellent assassins and infiltrators. They are usually either the first or last line of defense, but put them on a battlefield and they will wreak havoc. They hold a certain skill that only their cousins, the Lions, are able to wield also. The Berzerk trait is hereditary and proven to be lethal, not only to enemies, but also to the holder.  Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Fox

Those of the Fox bloodline hold true to their name. Cunning, ambitious and pranksters, they enjoy being the more fun family. A tradition among the graduating trainees is to actually prank the head of the family, and the trainee to succeed is placed in higher ranks. Though they enjoy playing as much as they do anything, when they bring their brilliant minds to the battle is when they really start to play. Behind the Owl family only by a slim margin, the Fox family has always seen the Owl family as competition. But the while the Owl family relies on fact, the Fox family relies on instinct. They make the best tactical advisors and in field tacticians. Though they are a more supporting family in battle, their traps and ambushes are historical and to be feared. Stag

The Stag Bloodline is one of the few that focus their powers mainly with spirit. They might not be the best for hand to hand fighting, but they are excellent spell weavers. They are also the closets bloodline connected to their Tribute God. Because of the connection they are often messengers of the Gods and hold prophecies and many sacred tablets. That being said, they place a lot of weight on their duty. They do not interact or associate with anyone that could change their plans to always serve the Gods to their upmost extent. They not only specialize in Magik but they also are the only bloodline to be able to create spells. But due to the raids much of their process for new spells was lost. Bear

The Bear bloodline is another that closer than normal to their associated family name. They hold much of their power in raw strength, many family members able to lift twice their weight. They have very little true Magik, but their skills with hand to hand combat is more than enough. The Bear bloodline is the one of the simpler families. They hold their beliefs sacred, but their social hierarchy is very loose. Carefree and very friendly, they take many strays in and help as much as they can. Much like their animal namesake, they hold many of their traits. Protectiveness runs deep and influences their families, many of the men being known to be insanely jealous over their wives and lovers, not to mention overbearing to daughters. But the family is tight knit and do everything they can to protect the other families as well. They don’t seek a feud with any, but the enemy. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Otter

Otter is the only family that their animal associates with a water base. Thus their main focus is the mind and spirit. Those of this family have a very peaceful core. They are the calmer family of the sentinels when they need it, but just like their animal association, they tend to flip sides of troublemaker and peacekeeper. Much like the Fox family, they are very mischievous and great thinkers. However, their power lies mostly in their nimble bodies and ability to think on the fly. They are great for diversions and ambushes. Viewed as one of the weaker families they weren’t a big target, keeping many of their history. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Lion

The Lion Bloodline is another that a close relationship with their namesake. They have intense courage and pride, often times they are hard headed as well. The Lion bloodline produces amazing leaders and fighters, their strength and insight are renown among the families. But unlike the Tiger Bloodline, they possess a skill that no other could: animal morphing. They don’t have the Berzerk ability, but make up for the rare genetic ability that run through very few families. They are best on the battlefield, most commonly on the front line. Their strength and morphing allow them not only intense power, but their enemy is more likely to run scared than continue fighting. Due to the raids they lose much of their family knowledge, being one of the stronger families though they managed to keep most of their power. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Swan

The more graceful of the families, don’t let the name fool you. The Swan bloodline has more power with their mind than any other bloodline. They hold most of their power with their healing abilities. The Swan family is used during intense battle as field medics and defense. Though they are the softer of the bloodlines, their backbone and faith is what kept the Sentinels going during so many fights. The Swans are known for their closeness as a family and resistance against those that threaten their loved ones. They are not to be viewed as weak though, it is said that if you anger a Swan their psychic backlash could flatten a mountain. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Elephant

The Elephant bloodline is the calmest of the families. Keeping their tempers in check and thinking through every action has earned them the names of best leaders. Though, unlike the Owls, the Elephants are able to make and keep connections to those around them. Intensely family oriented, they place their children above everything else. Those of the Elephant bloodline is known for their control and wisdom, due to this very few have seen their anger. Though they do not have the Berzerk trait, their anger causes them to go into rolling black outs and cause massive destruction for hours not caring who got in the way, they call it Stampede. For this very reason they prefer to keep themselves out of battles, for fear that they would hurt their own friends in the Stampede as well. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Wolf

The Wolf Bloodline is one of family and power. They keep tight to the hierarchy of the family and have strict rules in place for every member of the family. They are placed in the main battle and some for espionage, it all places to the advantages of that member. They are very adaptable and very reliable for high stake fights and missions. They usually operate in four man teams, the stronger members may have two at the least, but they always have someone with them.  They were one of the main families attacked during the raids and that left a mark on their family. Their Vanguards were confident and that is what caused them to lose a lot of supporting families and knowledge. To this day they only know their history by hearsay and their magic is limited. This also caused them to drift from the other families and they became solemn, only participating when needed. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:

Snake

Despite their Bloodline name they are very kind hearted and steadfast in their fight. Those of the Snake Bloodline is very close to the Fox Bloodline, many have intermarried and they can be usually seen on the same missions. But it had been their close relationship that caused the family the most heartache. Due to a traitor in the Fox Bloodline, the raids slaughtered the main family. Though they do not follow a hierarchy, their main family was very well loved. Since then the Snake family has distanced from all Bloodlines, not allowing any aid or giving any. The Snake Family didn’t lose much knowledge, but they lost the only bloodline that could summon their Familiar. Those of this Bloodline are gifted in:

Horse

Those of the Horse Bloodline are nomadic people. But should they be needed they will travel through mountains and oceans to your aid. Good spirited and light hearted, those of the Horse family are strong and will always help others. They have no quarrels with any of the families, instead they tend to stay very close to everyone, reminding them all that they, as a whole, are a family. Though their trademark is a white horse, their ultimate weapon is the opposite. Those of the Mustang family line are the proclaimed leaders of the Horse Bloodline. They lead and protect the weakest of the herd and stand with others, their shield and sword. Their ultimate weapon is the summoning of the Black Horse. A familiar of their patron God , the Black Horse is only summoned during the most desperate of times, because only death will follow his awakening. Those of this bloodline are gifted in:
